Milestones

ITI has already achieved numerous milestones in areas including research and development, intellectual property, delivery systems and manufacturing:

• ITI currently has two lead products in active clinical stage development:
  • midazolam for epileptic seizure (Phase III)
  • hydromorphone for acute, moderate-to-severe pain (Phase II)
• Multiple clinical trials have been performed
  successfully to date with ITI products.
• Other compounds that lend themselves well to nasal delivery are under evaluation or in preclinical development.
• Unit dose products have been developed, offering the advantages of nasal delivery (fast onset, ease of use, avoidance of 1st pass metabolism etc).
• ITI has exclusively licensed certain product rights to well known molecules from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy, a pioneer in nasal drug delivery.
• Multiple issued patents and pending applications.
• ITI has qualified a leading CRO for the manufacturing of late phase clinical and commercial supplies. For earlier phase work (pre-clinical and Phase I), we have an in-house development lab capable of formulation and analytical methods development
